MS: Order and Authority set by the Holy Spirit

Scripture Reference: 2 Chronicles 26:16 KJV (But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense).

According to 2 Chronicles 26:16-18, King Uzziah judged by God because he did not follow order and respected authority. The Holy Spirit set temple order and authority of priests to serve God and minister in the house not kings or prophets. But King Uzziah left his office of a king and his palace to go to the temple to do things he was not ordained and appointed by God to do. When King Uzziah did so, The Holy Spirit allowed the judgement of God upon him and he was cursed with leprosy.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of order and authority. The Holy Spirit speaks and works through order and authority. If we are going to be successful we must follow order and respect authority set by the Holy Spirit. We must follow church order and respect pastoral authority (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13). The children of Aaron died because they did not follow order and respected authority. These two children brought a strange fire in the altar of God and God was not pleased, God judged them and they died at the presence of God (Leviticus 10:1-2).

The Fear of God

Scripture Reference: Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV (Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man)

King Solomon who was a wise and wealthy man in the world during his time wrote about the fear of God. King Solomon after being successful in his life and kingdom he learnt that the most important thing is to fear God. King Solomon did not fear God, he had one thousand women who turn his heart from following the true and living God. King Solomon lifestyle was terribly wrong and worst.Finally, King Solomon came to his senses and realized the greatest requirement of God to man is to fear God and keep his commandments.

The fear of God, what is it? It is the reverential fear of God. God is worth of respect. The reason why the Holy Bible was written is so that people may learn to fear God and keep his commandments. In Old Testament, the kings appointed to serve the nation were required to have a copy of God's book in order to learn to fear God and keep his commandments. The Apostle Peter said four things in 1 Peter 2:17, honour all people, love the brethren, FEAR GOD and honour the king (head of the state and/or government).

The acts of God

Scripture Reference: Acts 15:12 KJV (Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them).

The book of Acts is called the acts of apostles but it is actually the acts of God. In the book of acts, God did amazing things such as signs and wonders, God moved mightily in work and in word. The book of acts has no end. God is calling us today to once again experience the book of acts in our generation. God wants us to be the people of the Holy Spirit, that is we worship and serve the Lord Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit on our side. These are not the acts of men but the acts of God, and it is the Holy Spirit who does them.

What are the acts of God? The acts of God are salvation, healing and miracles. God through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit saved people, healed people and did miracles to people. Barnabas and Paul took the gospel and work of God to the Gentiles (the non Jewish people) and God worked with them in a special way. And today more than ever, in 21 st century we need God to speak and work in our generation, see (Acts 13:36-37). Our generation needs God and the acts of God more than anything else.

MS: The Ministry and You

The truth of the matter is this, every Christian has a ministry. We are all called to serve God in the ministry to some extent. Ministry is not just only for ministers of the gospel. Every Christian should seek the Holy Spirit to show them their area of ministry and never be idle. If you are idle, Satan will give you something to do. Every Christian has what it takes to serve God in the ministry and you have a God given ministry.

Who is a minister? a minister is a servant or one who serves. What is ministry? Ministry is service. You are called, empowered and put in the ministry by God to serve. Ministry in action is about God and you at work. When God start to use you in the ministry be careful with three things: spiritual pride, sexual immorality and lust of money. Lucifer, Samson and Judas Iscariot lost their places in God and ministry because of these three sins.

MS:Salvation

Salvation is the most important thing in the world. What is salvation? Salvation is a relationship with God. salvation comes from the word save, it means to be made whole spirit, soul and body. Salvation is total well being.The gift of salvation includes three key words: righteousness, sanctification and glorification. As a saved person, who has received salvation, make sure you count precious your salvation second to none.

Salvation is spiritual key to life and work success. Salvation is can be experienced in three ways past, present and future: 1st. When you receive Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour (Ephesians 1:13), 2nd. When you face the challenges of life (Ephesians 6:17). 3rd. When you experience fulfilled desired future (divine visitation and God's promises fulfilled) (1 Thessalonians 5:8-9).

Factors affecting New Year

When God gives you a New Year, he has given you brand New Year, the best year than the old past year. But like anything new affacted by other stuffs, the same is New Year. A New Year can start in a good way (well) and then down to the months may be March, June or Septemeber the New Year is affected with certain things. One of the way to keep your New Year safe is to make and build in January a spiritual foundation that can not be forgotten and fail. Whatever you do, keep January afresh and foundational spiritually as you live, month after month.

God is the God of New Things! When you are saved, God has made you to serve in newness of the Spirit. Spiritually speaking when a New Year does not bring forth fruitfulness and desired results, ususally something is wrong somehow. A person success and failure in a New Year will depend on the following factors: 1.Failure to give God first priority 2.Bad spiritual timing 3.Wrong relationship with people 4.Carry the past experiences into next year 5.Lack of information 6.Poor financial handling 7.Wrong decision making.

New Year, New You: is it spiritually or merely physically?

You might have heard the statement or phrase: New Year, New You! This kind of saying it's origin is self-improvement agenda which was brought up by gym and health fitness experts. This kind of saying had nothing to do whatsover with the spiritual aspect of God. It looks like it was a merely physical. New Year, New You to the secular world it means to start a New Year afresh with a view and goal of achieving physical fitness, health and beauty, and not any spiritual new level of intimate relationship with God or the new things of God.

To God "New Year, New You"! implies spiritually, it has to be A New Year, New You in God not just your body's fitness, health and beauty, as the secular world seems to suggest but a brand New Year, brand New You in God -the whole of you spirit, soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 KJV). God hates idol worship and the secular world has been doing such kind of idol worship of a human body. It is called loving and celebrating your body! There is nothing wrong with looking after your body. But in God's sight the spiritual order is your saved spirit comes first! Then your soul and body.

New Year Resolution: is it of God?

One of the traditions of New Year is people do set forth New Year resolution. Some people do achieve their goals successfully and some people fail to accomplish the goals they set forth at the start of a New Year. Some people forget their goals or loose them as the New Year in the future months may be two or four or six etc, begin to unfold what kind of the New Year it really is or what it has in-stored for the human being. To be successful in a New Year a person needs to have God on their side. "Planning without God is planning to fail"!

The question is New Year Resolution, is it of God? Is God pleased with New Year Resolution? or not? Should a Christian do New Year Resolution? Many people may do New Year Resolution but sideline God (put God aside), and that is a big risk. No wonder at the end of the year little is accomplished. Proverbs 16:1-3 KJV, says the preparation of the heart is of man but the good answer comes from God. People ought to commit their aims and plans to God. And let God make their desires fulfilled. God is God and can not be reduced to a little god by any New Year Resolution. God will only bless New Year resolution which line up with his purpose.

MS: The New Year Message: Does it work?

You might have heard "a New Year Message" or declaration and decree "this is a year of this and that" may be a year of destiny or a year of breakthrough or a year of fulfilment or this is your year and then down the road, may be after 3 or 6 or 9 months nothing happen! The question is why? and does the New Year Message really work? If yes, how? and if not why? When the New Year Message does not work, usually there is something serious wrong even if the message was Rhema word or prophetic word or spiritual word.

For the New Year message to work successfully one must have spiritual balance. Any New Year brings with it negatives and positives things. It is wrong to say to people the positive things only and not inform them in case the worst happen how they should stand or defend or win. Barnabas and Paul were sent forth by the Holy Spirit to do special work but down the road they faced the enemy of the word of God and won because they were forewarned and forearmed (Acts 13:4-12). I think a New Year service is a time to give people godly strategies of how to win and work out whatever God's word it is.

The Lord Jesus Christ gave the word of God the highest priority in his ministry. The important people to Jesus was those who hear the word and do it.The word of God is a ministry tool that brings spiritual growth, transformation and success in of God and do it (Luke 8:20-21). Another place Jesus said blessed are those who hear and do the word of God (Luke 11:20-21).

In Luke 4:1-14, the Lord Jesus Christ faced the 3 challenges of the enemy and won. Jesus won because he had the Holy Spirit and he knew the Holy Scripture. In Luke 5:1,5 people pressed on to hear the word of God and Peter in verse five did according to the word of God. "Peter said at your word" And that is the key to success. God works by his word. Christmas Time

During Christmas Time because of traditional celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, it is easy to miss what Christmas is all about. Christmas is more than giving of gifts, cards, parties, wishing another Merry Christmas or have Christmas tree etc. Christmas is about Salvation of the people. Jesus Christ was born to save people from their sins. The name Jesus means a Saviour. Christ means one anointed to be God's Messiah to his people.

What is Christmas anyway? Christ-Mas it is two words put together "Mass for Christ"! Mass is people. Therefore Christmas means people are gathering together for Christ the Lord, Saviour, the Son of God and King. What to do during Christmas time? 1. Give out the gospel ( share the word of God) see Luke 2:11, 2. Praising and worshipping God, see Luke 2:13-14, 3. to consider or meditate what God have done for sending Jesus Christ, see Luke 2:19 and 4. To re-dedicate our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ ( to give ourselves wholly to him) see Luke 2:34-35

The Christ of Christmas

The angel (God's messenger) spoke the gospel to all people: the glad tidings of great joy to all people (Jews and Gentiles, saints and sinners or Christians and anti-God people). The Gospel also is known as good news of peace. But above all the gospel is good word or the word of God.
The Christ of Christmas! What does it mean? During Christmas day it is dangerous to worship the day and not the God of the day. Many people do worship Christmas and not the Christ of Christmas. We must remember without Christ there is no Christmas. Therefore Christ Jesus is more important than Christmas Day!.

Group Fellowship

The Holy Bible teaches the people of God to have group fellowship or fellowship of saints. A Christian needs to have a local church or home church where they fellowship i.e. church attendance is of great importance. The Greek word for fellowship is KOINONIA, It literally mean to fellowship as a group of God's people. Another Greek word for church is EKKLESIA which means an assembly of God's people.
In the book of Acts whenever a local church was launched the disciples had a group fellowship (a communion of saints). There are three types of communion: 1. Communion of saints 2. Holy Communion and 3. the Communion of the Holy Spirit. Cyber church and TV church channel can not replace people local church. The church is the congregation of people. The church is not only programmes or place but people and God in that place.

Divine Worship

Divine worship is the worshipping and serving of God in a right way. Worship is not singing, that is part of it. Worship is a life-style wherever you are. God commands his people not to worship or serve false gods, idols or put anything else before God.The first priority must be God. What is worship? Worship is made of two words worth and respect (Wor-ship), God is worth of respect. The Greek word for worship is Proskuneo it means to pay homage, adore, give reverence and to kiss God.

In Romans 12:1,11 God says he wants his people to give themselves whole-spirit-soul and body as they worship and serve him. Why we worship God? We worship God because 1. God is worth of respect 2. the Holy Spirit moves in times of worship 3. the word of God ministers to us in time of worship 4. Worship connect you with God 5. worship brings link with people. Worshipping and serving God is key to successful Christian living. There is service to give/offer to God wholeheartedly (act of worship).

Personal Discipleship

Christianity and discipleship goes hand in hand. Every Christian needs discipleship. A Christian needs to be taught and have a teachable spirit. Discipleship comes from the word disciple (student). The Greek word for Disciple is MATHETES which means a leaner and doer of the word of God. A disciple is a follower or one who adhere to the teaching of The Master Jesus Christ

A disciple have unique characteristic, he or she has discipline. A disciple lives a disciplined life. A disciple never disobey The Master or the teaching given. So discipleship is the act or art of training another person or following your Lord and Saviour (Acts 14:21-22 KJV). A Christian has two callings (Luke 6: 12-13 KJV). 1st. A Christian has a call of God to be a disciple and 2nd. a divine call to be a minister who serves (to make others disciples). Every Christian have a ministry and ability to serve God.

Kingdom Authority

The Lord Jesus Christ gave power (ability) and authority (right to exercise) to his disciples for two purposes to declare the kingdom of God has arrived and to heal the sick. And in the present time more than ever the people of God needs the same power and authority of God.Kngdom authoirity is also refered to us as Dominion authority or the authority of a believer or spiritual authority.

Authority is obtained from the name of Jesus Christ, the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. The name of the Lord Jesus has authority. Another place " a Roman centurion said to Jesus say the word and my soldier will be healed". There is authority in the word of God. Then there is authority that comes from the Holy Spirit and his power. Jesus said "stay in Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high". You have got power and authority, use it.

Kings and Priests

According to the verses above God is the King of kings and Lord of lords.God is also known as the King of Israel. It was the entire nation of Israel who reject God to be King over them, and asked for a political kings (1 Samuel 10:19 KJV). This is how kings begun to rule and reign in the state of Israel.

In New Testament God is the King over the world and church by his grace and sovereignty. God has established his kingdom on earth and has made his people: kings and priests to worship and serve him. Spiritually speaking you are a king and priest by God's grace you don't need to be a politician to become one. Kings rule spiiritually, and priests serves God and minister to people.

Kingdom Finance

Scripture Reference: Phillipians 4:15-18 KJV

God said in Haggai 2:8-9 KJV, silver and gold is mine. Not only precious metal or mineral belongs to God but also money (Psalms 24:1 KJV). Kingdom finances is about God really. God is King and Lord and he owns all. God is the owner and his people are stewards of the kingdom finance ( 2 Chronicles 31:9-12 KJV). A Good Steward will always highly appreciated by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Giving and receiving is God's principle as the epistle of Phillipians shows. People who give to God or for God's project receive! It is a circle: you give to God and receive from God. Verse 17 says you get credit in heaven. Verse 18 says every offering is pleasant before God, sweet smelling and accetable to God. The saints at Philipi gave abundantly as their partnership to God and received financial grace (see Philippians 1:5,7 KJV).

The King and His Kingdom

Scripture Reference: Colossians 1:12-13 and 1 Timothy 6:15 KJV

The Lord Jesus Christ came on earth to witness three things: the kingdom of God, grace and truth. Who is the King? God is the King of kings and Lord of Lords. The Lord Jesus Christ used two expression of the Kingdom: He spoke about the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of God is God's way of doing things or system of government. It is a realm or sphere where God rules and reigns. While the kingdom of heaven is future coming kingdom, when God will have authority and power (1 Corinthians 15:23-24).
The God we worship and serve, he is the God of gods, he is the King over the affairs of men. All the states governments and their heads of state are under God. There are four types authority God has established 1st. the Kingdom of God 2nd. Family 3rd. Government and 4th. the Church. But the greatest order of rule is the kingdom of God over all established authority. There three things you need to understand the Kingdom of God, ministry and church. The church is not the kingdom of God but has the ministry to spread the gospel of the kingdom of God.

Kingdom Living

Scripture Reference: Acts 1:2-3 & Act 19:8 KJV

The Lord Jesus Christ soon after his resurrection he gave authority and commission to his disciples and spoke concerning the kingdom of God. Being a prophetic voice and apostolic vessel himself, the Lord Jesus Christ commanded his disciples to live according to the standards of the kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is the highest level of God's order. What is Kingdom? Kingdom is sovereignty or God's system of Government, a realm where God rules and reign. There are two types of kingdom: the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness

And today more than ever in 21st century as it was in 1st century Kingdom Living is very important. If you live according to the kingdom of God, Satan,sin and sickness will not touch you. God is calling his people to live in divine order and to abide in the principles of the gospel of the Kingdom. The Kingdom is reality of the presence of God in you and around you. God intend his people to live as prince and princess. When a person is saved, God commands thta person to live according to his kingdom. The Lord Jesus Christ came to witness the kingdom of God, grace and truth, and that is our ministry.

MS: The Holy Trinity

Scripture Reference: 1 Timothy 1:17 & 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV

At the river Jordan the Holy Trinity was so real and manifested (Luke 3:21-23 KJV). There is only one God who has revealed himself in three persons. The Holy Trinity is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The time of the Father was from creation to Malachi the prophet, the time of the Son was three years and half to Pentecost and From that time until now, it is the new era of the Holy Spirit. We are living in the present time of the Holy Spirit. At the same time the Holy Spirit has been working with the Father and the Son during their respectively times.
God never does anything without the Holy Spirit. In Genesis 1:2-3 the Father created all things by the Spirit and the word. In Acts 1:2-3 the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ spoke and did all things by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the gift and promise of the Father and the Son. Nobody can do anything without the Holy Spirit, the mighty third person of the Godhead. You can say Jesus is Lord only by the Holy Spirit and you can call God, Abba-Father only by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Scriptures

The Holy Scriptures is the Holy Bible. It is the written word of God. And the Holy Scriptures are so important to the people's lives (2 Timothy 4:13).The Lord Jesus Christ once said people err because they do not know the scriptures and the power of God. Therefore it is important to pay attention to what the Holy Scriptures says when you read, listen and watch (1 Timothy 4:13). The Lord Jesus Christ could start His ministry without read the Scripture but he used the scroll of Isaiah to make ministry debut (Luke 4:16-19).
Paul the apostle wanted his protege, Timothy to know that the Holy Scripture are essential for salvation and ministry so that the minister and servant of the Lord may be humble and apt to serve. The Holy Scriptures are able to make a person wise unto salvation and ministry. The Holy Scripture were written for our own good and learning (Romans 15:4-5 KJV). The Holy Scripture are profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction. The Holy scriptures are breathed by the Holy Spirit and full of life.

The Holy Spirit

It is important to know the deity and duty of the Holy Spirit. Who is this Holy Spirit? He is God and Lord Almighty. He is a divine person and Spirit being. The Holy Spirit has all divine characteristics such as He is Eternal, Omni-present, Omni-scient and Omni-potent. The Holy Spirit is co-equal, co-exist and co-essential with the Father and the Son. And above all, He is co-worker with you (divine partnership). Also the Holy Spirit is passionate with you (James 4:5 KJV). He left heaven and came to the earth to live and work with people.

The Holy Spirit desires you with a holy jealous love. The Holy Spirit dwells in you permanently. In Old Testament The Holy Spirit used to come and go, but in Testament the Holy Spirit has come to make habitation not just visitation. Again in Old Testament The Holy Spirit was given to few ministers of God (e.g.Prophets, Priests and Judges) but In New Testament the Holy Spirit is not just for ministers of God (i.e. the big five listed in Ephesians 4:11) but for every child of God. The Holy Service

What is ministry all about? Ministry is about service. Ministry is more than organization, top job or political department but ministry is Holy Service. I am delighted to be part of God's ministry since the Lord called me into His Holy Service, over the years I have seen His grace, glory and greatness. I have learned ministry success comes through diligent work. And that the true test of a minister is not just credentials but credibility and work. A minister with a proven ministry do the work of God industriously.

When it comes to serving God in the ministry people have all kinds of ideas and hindrances to join the ministry both full-time and part-time. Some say I can not serve God because I have no ministerial credentials such as certificate of ordination or a degree from a Theological Seminary or I do not have a spiritual mentor/tutor. God can use anybody Paul was a scholar, ordained and well educated (Acts 26:24-25) but Peter was not (Acts 4:13), yet God called, empowered and sent both of them. There is nothing wrong with certificates (THD,DD,DMin or Dmiss). But the most important thing, God requires is ministerial credibility, avail-ability and you to have GOD.

Ministry Partnership

Scripture Reference: Philippians 1:5,7 KJV

Paul wanted the Philippians to know partnership works. These people with their finance they obtained favour and grace that is in Paul’s life and ministry. And they share the result of the ministry of Paul simply by their giving and support to him. Partnership is the good thing that God has set forth. Ministry is so great and vast without partnership it is impossible to do ministry. One person cannot do ministry alone (Alone you achieve little, as a group you achieve a lot). Partnership is very important in order to do ministry.

Nothing has changed the principle of partnership is still the same even at this present time. Paul wrote and pointed out very clearly if you do partnership with ministers of the gospel or for the ministry of the gospel there will be great results. First, if you give support you will receive favour and grace more than money alone. Second, if you do ministry partnership you will be fruitful in good work and service credited to your account. Third, the gift and support you give will be finest offering to God (Philippians 4:15-18 KJV).

Doing the work of God can sometimes attract problems. You can be attacked while serving the Gospel and for good causes. That is what happened to Paul the apostle, for doing the right thing of God. The Jews went ballistic and jealous and they accused him with evil things and decided to kill him.But he obtained the Help of God. God enabled him by his power and grace, and saved him from danger and destruction..
Whatever you are facing now, don't hesitate to obtain the Help of God. God is stretching his hands to Help you at the time of desperate need. In 2 Timothy 2:9-10 KJV, it shows the Gospel and God's work was brought to us after many bonds, chains, imprisonments, sword and jeopardised life of holy apostles and prophets but God helped them (he empowered them to do the work) and they did. The Holy Bible-Authorized KJV- Statistics

Unless where stated, the following apply to the King James Version of the Bible in its modern Protestant form, i.e. including the New Testament but none of the deuterocanonical books. The number of words can vary depending upon aspects such as whether the Hebrew Alphabet in Psalm 119 or the superscriptions listed in some of the Psalms and New Testament are included.

Books :

The Holy Bible has 66 books, 39 of Old Testament and 27 books of New Testament of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The book of Isaiah is called a mini-Bible or Bible book-let because it has 66 chapters and it has great prophecies concerning the gospel, grace of salvation, the suffering of Christ and the glory to come. Even the Lord Jesus Christ quoted Isaiah 61 in his debut of the ministry (Luke 4:18-19)

The Bible was first written in ancient languages Hebrews/Aramaic, Greek and Latin (John 19:20) not English.

The Bible was written with at least forty different writers some Jews and some Gentiles (None-Israelite-National), see Luke 1:1-2. These different writers did not sit down together to do the work of writing the Holy Scriptures but were prompted and moved by the Holy Spirit at various places, to write to different people none contradicting God's message. Not all the writers were apostles or prophets some of them were doctors of the law, medical doctors, scribes, scholars, priests, kings, ministry staffs and church workers.

Chapters:

There are 929 chapters in the Old Testament and 260 chapters in the New Testament. This gives a total of 1,189 chapters (on average, 18 per book).

Psalm 117 is the middle chapter of the Bible, being the 595th Chapter.

Psalm 117 is also the shortest chapter of the Bible.

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter of the Bible.

Verses:
There are 23,145 verses in the Old Testament and 7,957 verses in the New Testament. This gives a total of 31,102 verses, an average of a little more than 26 verses per chapter.

The King James Version has an even number of verses (31,102), with the two middle verses being Psalm 103:1-2

1 Chronicles 1:25 is the shortest verse in the Old Testament.

John 11:35 ("Jesus wept") is the shortest verse in most English translations.

Prophetic Word and Work

Many people not few,like to receive prophetic word and do nothing without work the word to take place (happen). The prophetic word needs to be put to work (1 Timothy 4:14 KJV) and it will occur. To work the prophetic word! how? By act, take a step and do what you heard,saw or read-that was spoken and writtten from God. Notice: A minister of God speak the word and do the work. A Christian ought to act the same way.

The prophetic word imparted to you may no be fulfilled and make impact not because only the minister of God was not true and good,no, not so at all. The listener, reader and viwer (the person/audience) needs to work the prophetic word. Good Theology

The truth of the matter is we are involved in the study and practice of theology-whether you like it or not. Do not fear theology,fight it or flee from it, theology is a good thing (part of sound doctrine). What is it? Theology is more than a study of religion (Christianity and/or world religions and it's application). Theology can be defined as the study of God and of God's relation to the world or his people. The theology of God is about to know God and acknowledge him in daily lifestyle (1 Timothy 3:16 KJV).

Theology defends and confirms the gospel and the work of God and does not attack or oppose the things of God. Those who lack good theology can end up into heresy, falsehood, wrongdoing and scriptural error. You do not need just a THD or theological studies to embrace the theology of God just the Holy Scriptures and the Holy Spirit are enough with the help of Honourable servants of God (2 Timothy 3:10-11 KJV). No matter who you are, take hold of good theology i.e. theology proper.

You Need God

In this day and age, people from all walks of life, NEED GOD! The Holy Bible (book with 66 books) says "You shal worship the Lord your God and him only you shall serve, Luke 4:8 KJV". Come what may, the best or worst of life, you can't take away God. God is the key figure in people's lives.God has said " I will be their God and they will be my people, 2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV ". No more idols,but only God.

God said to Joshua: Moses your senior leader (spiritual parent, spokesperson-prophet and stateman-politician is dead)! NOW, Joshua (prote'ge', disciple, junior minister) arise and stand up with God not a mere human being-Moses who is no longer alive. Move forward, be bold and I am with you permanently. Joshua training season was over and it was high time for leadership. And Joshua took the mantle of leadership with God and did a great ministry, again for God. Will you?

God speaks and does

Scripture Reference: Romans 15:15-19 KJV

According to the verses 17 and 18 above God has two characters 1. God speaks and 2.God does. Paul the apostle wrote in his epistle that to save the Gentiles (the Romans,the Greeks or ancient known world),God spoke the gospel and God did his mighty work (healing and miracles). The salvation of the Gentiles (non-Jews) had two aspects of God: the decrees/oracles and deeds/acts of the apostles. God spoke the gospel and worked signs and wonders by the mouth and hands of the apostles and prophets of New Testament (1 Corinthians 12:28 KJV).

The Lord Jesus Christ was THE MESSIAH dynamic in speech and deed (Luke 4:18-19). He spoke God's message with power! and did miracles full of authority and power. You and I have that authority (dominion,command or order) in his Name and the same power (ability) of the Holy Spirit. Mark Gospel put this way: the apostles went every place and spoke the gospel and God working with them confirming the word with signs following (the presence and power of God at work). The firstfruits of the Spirit

Scripture Reference: Romans 8:23 KJV
The verses above shows that every person in New Testament has the birthright in God. If you don't have birthright or unique identity in your family you have got it in God. James the apostle wrote God begat us that we may become the firstfruits of all his creatures (James 1:18 KJV). This is New Creation he was talking about. That means every person is first before God just like the Lord Jesus Christ his Son (1 Corinthians 15:22-23 KJV or Revelation 1:5-6 KJV).

The Firstfruits of the Spirit is different with the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). The Firstfruits of the Spirit is about initial salvation. It is the fact that the Holy Spirit by the gospel has saved you, adopted you, made you child of God-it literally means -a divine foretaste of eternal life by the power of the Holy Spirit. While on the other hand the fruit of the Spirit is evidence that a person lives salvation or the presence of the Holy Spirit abides in you and around you, after you received the Holy Spirit (Acts 13:52 KJV). Keen to the Godhead

Scripture Reference: Luke 3:21-23 KJV

The verses above God shows God is three in one. There is only one true God and He has revealed himslef in tripersonality (three persons) as the Father (Abba), His Son (Jesus Christ) and His Spirit (Holy Spirit). The Holy Trinity is seen clearly in the scripture at Jordan river: The Father spoke, The Son sought God and The Holy Spirit descended in likeness of a dove upon Jesus Christ the Lord.

In both Old and New Testaments God has always worked as the Godhead. In this verse 2 Corithians 13:14 KJV you see the Holy Trinity at work (God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit). And in 1 John 5:7-8 KJV, the verses shows one God in three persons. God the Father is the wisdom (mind,creator,sovereign,source and intelligent being) of the Godhead, the Son is the word and the Holy Spirit is the hand of the Lord or breath of God who does the all the work. The Holy Spirit brings the presence and power of God in people's lives and God's work.

The Kingdom of God

The verses above shows that, the Kingdom of God makes impact in space of time through a person used by God. What is the Kingdom of God? It is God's rule of grace in the world. Or sphere of God's rule and sphere (domain, region, area,state) at any given time God's rule is recognized and received. The Kingdom of God is the position of God as sovereign ruler of the universe or the people.

The Kingdom of God brings impartation of sovereignty, royal priesthood, loyal relationship with God and love. The way to enter the kingdom of God and be established in it, is by salvation and the Holy Spirit presence (Romans 7:6 and Romans 14:16-18 KJV). People can only receive the Kingdom of God by the gospel and promptings of the Spirit of God.

Know and acknowledge God

According to the verses above God requires the people of the world to know and acknowledge him. Firstly, to have the knowledge of God is about who God is? God is not human being, he is supernatural being with authority and power. God is supreme ruler (the Lord of heaven and earth). That means there is nobody above God, he is the most high God. God is as the Holy Bible put it he is Spirit or Spirit being (God is eternal, ever present, potent and intelligent being-wise).

Secondly, acknoldgement of God has to do with ways of how to acknowledge God? By your lifestyle, priority and respect God first and foremost. The Romans knew God but they put aside God and his things, the stopped to pursue him and his purpose.

Easter Day, Jesus or Barabbas?
Choice and actions determine the course of life! People either struggle in this life simply or will suffer eternal shame because of the choice they make, God or Satan? Jesus in his ministry and apostleship in Israel, he served God and did good to people (e.g.healing, hospitality and spiritual help) and yet when people were faced with a choice they liked Barabbas, and shouted away with Jesus (crucify him,crucify him). Amazing! isn't it? Even Jesus was surprised and shocked! (Luke 22:52-53 KJV).

Action Points: On Easter Day and each day, people are faced with choice to make, either run their life with God or without God (secular world lifestyle, particularly in most of European countries and North America, and shockingly U.K. which spread Christianity globally is in danger of the same apostasy). The three letters GOD, when spoken and ministered as the Holy scriputres says/shows, great and small people feel disturbing and disgusting (they want God out and not God in) and every Sunday is a good chance to say yes to God and no to Satan, and to run life God's way.

Ministry Service: It is a programme that's taking the gospel and work of God to the people. At midweek and/or weekend MS provides a keynote subject to enhance relationship with God and serving God in the ministry.

God at the Centre of life:
God? Yes God! A prominent government political journalist and spin Doctor was once interviewed, about his view on God, his reply was astonishing and did send shocking waves. He said, "politicians don't do GOD" What a wrong answer, I thought! According to the sweet psalmist of Israel (Psalms 53:1-2 KJV) that spin Doctor deleted God in life equation and jeopardized himself of God's reaction. After all God do affairs of people as Acts 17:26-28 KJV show forth (in their health, relationships, work, money, leadership and Christianity). In a world of busy culture, it possible to sideline God and pursue things which are second to God.

Action points: It is good to find out during midweek in the case of God and you, what do you do either for God or with God? is it a attend life group or witness/share God to others or attend church gathering/ connect with Christians or cultivate relationship with God/devotion? What is it? worship and serve God? or write a book/song as God leads or read a godly book or listen a godly worship song/word keynote speech or watch a godly programme? Remember time set aside for God/used for God is worthwhile and is credited to your factfile/account in heaven above.

Church! It's God's own idea:
Sunday! is God's cooperate worship day. In a present world where church existence is risked, because of political correctness, diversity of other religious sects or busy culture or humanistic secret world view on God's church.The time is right to voice church importance. A local church was not and is still not Man's idea but God. God has established first his Kingdom, secondly family, thirdly church and lastly Government as four institutions, and each is essential and has it's unique role and place.

When a person is a Christian/devoted to Christ Jesus not only he needs a Bible copy and prayer devotion but most importantly he need a sound minister and a local church. If a person needs a health doctor or judicial lawyer or professional advisor or academic professor in this life, how much more a sound minister and local church for personal and ministry growth? The Holy Spirit is a Spirit of order and right priorities, The Holy Spirit works through a good minister and a local church-an independent autonomy entity, Let's have church and honour clergy and laity.

Today, our Bible reference and text is Acts 14:8-10 KJV. Paul the apostle said to the lame man who never walked before, stand up and walk and the lame man walked! This was an instant miracle. Well Being

God wants you first as a person/ a human being than what you do (your profession/ career or your ministry call. I mean your spirit first then other things. God’s divine intention is your well being. You are human being and not a human doing. God wants you! And God wants you well.
Spirit, soul and body
Man is three in one. Man is made of three parts spirit, soul and body. The spirit is the inner most being. The functions of your spirit are intuition (sensitive to God’s voice), intimacy (relationship with God) and service to God. A soul is your mind, will and emotions. The body is your third part that is the physical part. God’ s order is spirit, soul and body and not another way round. You are a spirit! And your spirit must be in charge.

Father’s Day

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all fathers, happy father's day! Sunday June 21st is a great day, fathers will be celebrating father's day. The Bibles speaks about different types of fathers. 1. The heavenly father (God is our Father) 2. Human fathers (our earthly fathers) 3. A father in the ministry (spiritual mentor e.g. Paul and Timothy. 4. Fathers of faith (great men of God in the past church history. 5. Father is a founder or an apostle in the specific area. e.g. John is the apostle of love, Peter is the apostle of healing and Paul is the apostle of the gospel of grace. Today we celebrate all these fathers.
King, Prophet and Priest
This is a great day to appreciate the role that the fathers do. A father is a king (authority in home), a father is a prophet in home (He is set by God to be a voice, to establish the kingdom of God, to carry the call of God with character and lead by grace of New Testament) a father is priest (he has to serve his family and do everything in the order of God. As a priest he has to minister the word and pray for his family.

Jesus first purpose

Jesus Christ had a purpose to establish the church but he knew he could not do it well without first start preparing leaders. Along with his public ministry he spent three years preparing his disciples and apostles. The first thing is there must leaders/spiritual ministers in order to have a church. Jesus had to build an apostolic team or a ministry team that will stand after he is gone. Thank God! They did the best job after his departure. When leaders are in place serving in one unity then the church is fine, well established.

Leaders, church and the Holy Spirit
I love the church in the book of Acts, you read Acts 13:1-3 and Acts 15:5-6, 15-16 you will be amazed! How leaders led the church and the Holy Spirit moving and working with them. The Holy Spirit could work with these church leaders because Jesus Christ had already prepared them. Even Satan, sin and sickness could not stand in the way of the first great early church. God is looking for leaders! Leaders must speak with one voice; serve as God’s vessels. Then the church will be strong and the Holy Spirit will use each one.

Jesus and Judas

In the family, community, church and the Government there is always a Judas or people who act like Judas. Last week UK cabinet minister after cabinet minister quit the government. Judas had a divine destiny to be not only a disciple but also an apostle of God. Sadly he lost his destiny, ministry and relationship with Jesus Christ. Judas finally ended his life by committing suicide. What a waste!

Trust
Judas was best friend of Jesus more that John, who Jesus loved and became the apostle of love. Judas was a treasurer, one who was in charge of financial department. As a leader, to put some one in the financial department that person must be faithful and loyal. Jesus loved and knew Judas and still Jesus kept Judas agenda secret until the supper time. I believe Jesus gave Judas grace period in order to change. But Judas broke trust. Judas never saw the need to change. And the worst of all he gave the enemy chance to attack him and Jesus Luke 22:3-5. It’s time to keep trust and restore it and move on with Jesus Christ.

The Church

Jesus Christ spoke a great statement in Matthew 16:18 “ I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail”. What is the church? The church is the community of God’s people. The church as the body of Christ represents Jesus Christ.

Dynamic Ministry

Paul the apostle gave testimony of his ministry, if you will, about his dynamic ministry. Able Ministers
The Holy Spirit has made us able ministers of the New Testament.Able ministers means anointed ministers or empowered ministers.Every Christian must worship and serve God. Not just worship God but also to serve him in ministry (Romans 12:6-8) In Old Testament few people (Kings, Priests and Prophets) received the anointing of the Holy Spirit to serve God. But in New Testament every Christian receives the anointing to serve God.

Ministry Gifts

God has set forth in the church ministry gifts. The ministry gifts are five offices of the church. Not only evangelists, pastors and teachers but also the apostles and prophets. Ministry Skills

The ministry gifts must be able to speak the word skilfully and minister to people through prayer. What is spiritual ministry all about? Spiritual ministry is in the word and prayer.

The call to the ministry

Ministry is a divine call of God. First, God calls us into intimate relationship with him and secondly he calls us to serve him into the ministry. God has called you to be 1. A witness and 2. A minister or to serve him in a certain area.
What is the price of ministry? The price of ministry is faithfulness and loyalty. What is ministry? Ministry simply means service. Who is a minister? A minister is a servant.

Pride, Sex and Money
When God calls you into the ministry you must be careful with three things pride (self exaltation), sex and money. Through out the entire Bible we see the enemy (Satan) attacking anointed ministers by pride, sexual immorality and money. Judah betrayed the Lord with 30 shekels of money. To serve God we must be humble and walk in humility before God. God wants to use you in ministry.

It is recession, it is financial tough times, it is economic crisis and it is famine season! Unemployment rises up and lost of jobs, what do you do? You turn to God. You search for information. You let the local church know your need. You find out the government professional help. In the first early church, the church had a strategy to meet financial need. The church sent relief to other Christians.

Financial Strategy
If you face financial and economic problem, say like unemployment or loose your job, lack, or financial need. There are strategies to find answer. Firstly, seek God. Secondly, find help from Christian networks or a local church. Thirdly, find God’s promise in his word and pray to God. Fourthly, you got a need, plant a seed and expect to receive and fifthly, trust God to meet your financial need. A strategy is a plan of action. Sit down and plan. And then do your plan.

Finance and economy

We have seen world leaders come together in order to solve financial and economic problems. These world leaders predict that the economic downturn will last long-time. But, for a Christian whether it last long or in short time, God is our provider. Famine in the Bible speaks of economic downturn. Through out the Bible, God has always provided to his people at the time of famine.

Personal Finance
At this time of economic downturn giving to God is the key. We must not stop giving because of recession. Giving and receiving is a circle. You give to God and you receive from God. God cares for our personal finance. God cares for our work, business, banking, interests rates, insurance, taxes, bills, credit cards, rent, mortgages and financial needs. God wants you to have good personal finance. God requires us to keep giving in our local churches (offerings and tithes) for in that way we become faithful stewards.

What is Easter? Easter is the season we celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is alive today! He is risen.
At Easter we remember how Jesus Christ gave the sacrifice of his body and shed his blood for us. Thus why the Holy Communion is so meaningful to the church. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Crucifixion and resurrection
Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again on the third day. That’s the Gospel message. Our salvation is faith based on and the fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. On the cross Jesus Christ died and did five things.1 He took all sins 2. He took all sickness 3. He took all poverty 4. He rendered Satan powerless 5. He sent the Holy Spirit. And today more than ever we must witness/testify to others the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:33
Friday is called good friday because God showed his goodness to his people. Salvation, healing and miracles all are the goodness of God.

Joseph Generation

“ But God was with him and for God was with him” are key statements used to Joseph and Jesus in the Bible. These two statements they mean or stand for the presence of God. In fact another name of Jesus is EMMANUEL: God with us. When God is with you, you will see his goodness in the land of the living. Joseph was cast in the pit, was in pharaoh house, prison and in the palace but God was with him. God is with you!

Wisdom, Favour and Leadership
Joseph saw years of famine (economic downturn) in Egypt and good finance. The bad and good years of economic fall and rise up. Joseph is our role model; we are Joseph Generation who will turn around the famine into good finance and economy. God promoted Joseph with wisdom, favour and leadership. He was a governor over all Egypt. God will promote you. Pharaoh depended on Joseph (Genesis 41:38) so is the world is looking for answer from God’s people. Therefore do not fear the present time financial problems but solve them. Make money (work), give to God, save and then spend.

Psalm 1 talk about bringing forth fruit in season. God expects us as Christians to give forth fruit all the time. The key is to study and meditate the word and pray. A person with good character/lifestyle is a good Christian or minister.

12 Manner of fruits
Revelation 22 teaches us of a tree giving forth 12 manner of fruits.
And its leaves are the healing for the nations and also the servant of God will serve God forever and ever. Serving God will not end here on earth, but we will serve God in heaven. God commands us to give forth fruit all the 12 months of the year. We must take salvation and healing to the nations of the world. We who worship and serve God shall see God’s salvation and healing in our lives. (Malachi 4:2-3)

Mother's Day

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all mothers, happy mother's day! Sunday March 22nd is a great day, mothers will be celebrating mother's day! God gave 10 commandments to people of Israel to know and to keep them. One of the 10 commandments was honour your father and mother. God commands us to honour the mothers. This is the first commandment with a promise of long life and health (Deuteronomy 5:16).

Women, wives and mothers
This is the great day to appreciate the role played by mothers. First as women they are role models to other women. They also play such a key role of wives to their husbands, to support their husbands and make a home. And have a great responsibility as mothers to raise children. To shape their future, character, parenting and loving them. I call for all men to recognize and greatly appreciate and give thanks for what mothers are doing in our States and societies. Congratulations to all mothers for your good job.

Bearing Fruit

God has ordained and appointed you to bear fruit. How? To bear fruit in holy lifestyle, in the service of God (ministry), in the church, in making disciples (evangelism and witnessing) and developing the fruit of the Spirit (character) God requires us to be disciples who bear fruit and our fruit remain (can be seen and rewarded) 2009 is the year of bearing much fruit. A child stays in mother’s womb for 9 months. 9 is special number to God, 9 speaks for season of fruitfulness. What will you do in the following 9 months of 2009? Bear fruit!

Fruit, increase and multiplication
The God that you and I worship and serve is a God of fruit bearing, increase and multiplication. God is interested in growth. God never created or saved us to stay the same way year after year. God wants you grow in every area of your life. God wants the church to grow spiritually, numerically and in social networking or socially. The good place to find out God likes fruit bearing, increase and multiplication is the book of Acts of apostles 1-28. God loves a a functioning church that bears fruit (you and I).

Sin in God’s sight is spiritual wickedness. Sin is bad it stops spiritual breakthrough, God’s answer to prayer and intimate relationship with God. What is sin? Sin in God’s standard is to miss the mark or rebellion or disobedience or wickedness (evil). Sin is wrongdoing and offence.

Pride, Sex and Money
You probably have heard the stories in the Bible about Samson and Delilah (Judges 16:4-5). Or you might have heard of Adam and Eva (Genesis 3:6-7) or Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-2). These 3 couples fell because of sins of pride, sex and love of money. Can you imagine the mighty Samson fell in love with a strange woman (not a Jew) Delilah!!! He lost his power, relationship with God and his ministry (a judge) But he repent and found God. If you are sinning stop, sin no more and you will find God’s grace, peace and mercy. Proverbs 28:13

My Testimony
I will be 40 years on 02/03/2009. I thank the heavenly Father for turning 40 years on next Monday. I thank the Father again for calling me by his grace to serve him in ministry and experience his salvation. Thank God for all the birthdays in 2009. I am grateful to God to reach 40. It is my gratitude to be alive and celebrate.
In 1999 God gave me Acts 26:16-18 for his call to me. And today I serve him and minister because I found God’s call. Do you? Find and fulfil God’s call.

God is able

God ministers to us by his power. Now unto him who is able to do according to the power that works in us. God knows how to deliver his people from temptations, declares the Bible. In spiritual ministry I have seen many ladies and gentlemen receive their miracles.
Miracles are acts of God beyond natural laws or human reason. When a miracle happen you say, THIS IS GOD! I can boldly declare and testify GOD IS ABLE REGARDLESS OF YOUR NEED! God will meet you at the point of your need.

Personal Testimony
I am a witness of the manifestation of the power of God. Nearly 20 years ago I was going through spiritual attacks of the enemy (spiritual warfare). I attended church service and while the preacher ministers the word, the power of God fell down and I was totally made free. I could testify more spiritual miracles but this is enough for today. What are you going through? What is your need? You too can experience the power of God in action! GOD CAN DO IT.

Valentine’s Day

It is Saint Valentine day today. Valentine’s Day is the great day for couples. This is the day when couple (husband and wife) celebrate their relationship and show love. God wants you to have a romantic Valentine. I believe Christians should be the first to show romance and love on Valentine’s Day. Some Christians are too super spiritual to the extent they ignore and reject Valentine’s Day.

Happy Couple
Whatever you are doing on Valentine Day or in lifetime as man and his wife let your mission be, to be a Happy Couple. Mr and Mrs I would like to wish you – Happy Valentine’s Day! As we see today that every Christian ministry is looking for partners to give financially, pray and work with them. Your husband or wife is your partner. He or she is a partner with you in all that God has called you to do and to be. I wish you a good valentine experience. Love, joy and peace!

Fear Not

One of the message of the Bible is fear not. In fact at this time where the finance and economy is not good, God says fear not. What do you fear? Is it Satan? Fear not. Is it your future and destiny? Fear not. Is it marriage and family relationship? Fear not. Is it spiritual ministry? Fear no more. In the Bible times when God gave a person assignment, they were afraid. But God said fear not. The Holy Spirit says the same to us fear not.

Power, Love and Sound Mind
The Bible declares God has not given us the spirit of fear but the Spirit of power, love and sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV/NIV The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of power, love and sound mind. When you receive the Holy Spirit fear goes out. Do not fear anything.
Fear is opposite of faith. Faith is divine assurance. Faith is a force.Fear brings doubt, lack of confidence and failure. But faith establishes you.

The Love of God

Grace (favour) comes through the Jesus Christ, love through the Father and Communion (Intimacy, presence, friendship) comes through the Holy Spirit. Love is the central foundation of the grace of the Son and Communion of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit desires greatly to fellowship with you in prayer and the word.

Apostles and Prophets

An apostle is a chosen vessel of God and a prophet is a voice.Apostle means he that is sent (sent one) and prophet means he that is set by God (set one) or one put in place. It is important to understand that the church began 2000 years ago with apostles and prophets and will continue with the same impact in 21st century. While the prophets and teachers worshipped the Lord, the Holy spoke to them. The Holy Spirit said set forth Barnabas and Paul for the work that I have called them. The Holy Spirit speaks with 1.a prophetic voice Acts 21:10-11 2. A gentle voice in our hearts and 3. An audible voice (through preaching and teaching). Thus saith the Holy Sprit means the spoken word is from God not man. It means what the Holy Spirit says to us.

The Voice of the Holy Spirit
One of the things so special in the book of Acts of Apostles is the Holy Spirit spoke to the disciples and apostles. E.g. Acts 16: 6-7 Seek God and you will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit speaks to us in every area of our lives. 2 Samuel 23: 1-2
It is important for God’s people to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Prophecy of the Prophet

Salvation

King David said I would take the cup of salvation. One of the lost messages in the church today is salvation. Preachers speak a lot of things and never emphasize on salvation. The central message of Christianity is salvation. The greatest miracle is not healing or financial miracle or deliverance but it is salvation. Salvation comes from the word save. The word save means to make free from sin, Satan and spiritual judgement to come. Salvation is eternal salvation!

Salvation then Healing
Man is spirit, soul and body. God wants to save the human spirit then heal the soul and physical body. God’s plan is salvation of sinners and then healing of the sick.Not another way round. God is a God of Salvation, healing and miracles. You see healing and miracles comes after salvation. Read Hebrews 2:3-4 KJV, you will see that God used healing and a miracle to confirm the message of salvation is true. Let us also share our salvation to the sinners Acts 13:46-47 KJV. If others did not tell us we couldn’t be saved by now. It took others to tell us that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour. Now it is our turn to take salvation to others.

Edification

Church edifying or edifying of the body of Christ is so important. Christians needs to be edified. In Ephesians 4:11 God set forth 5 offices of the church for the edifying of the church (you) in verse 12. The church attendance or assembling must be for edifying one another. When brothers and sister in Jesus Christ meet together you should edify each one. Edification is essential.

Evangelism and Edification
What is edification? To edify means to build up. To edify is to lift up another person spiritually. What is Evangelism? To evangelise means to witness and win people to God. Evangelism is harvest of souls. Evangelism and edification are two things a church must do. Evangelism and edification goes together. We must evangelise the lost souls (share our Salvation) and edify one another spiritually. When Apostle Paul was saved the churches were edified. Acts 9:31 KJV
I encourage you to evangelise (share your salvation) and edify another person spiritually. The 3 fold church mission is edification, exalt God and evangelism.

Financial well being
Financial well being is important to every Christian. Financial well being include personal finance, work, business, risk and reward, personal budget, mortgage, interest rates, balancing, credit cards, taxes and insurance policy etc.
God wants you to have good financial well being free from debt, lack, poverty and the love of money. When the church is well financially she can successfully and effectively serve God and minister the gospel to the sinners. Money and wealth belongs to our God. God is a rich God.

Evangelism

Ministry Partnership
Ministry is a big work and network and it requires partnership.It is difficult to fulfil the call to the ministry alone you need partners. So partnership is important in ministry as we serve God. Partnership brings spiritual impartation, impact and dynamic ministry.There are other ministers or ministries which abuses or misuse partnership. But partnership especially in finance needs to be taken with care. Christians must seek the Holy Spirit in order to know whom to partner with. Christians should start firstly to partner with their Local Church and secondarily
Christian Ministries.

Relationship with God

God says in Jeremiah 9:23-24 KJV we should not boast in our wisdom (intelligence and mind), might (power) and riches (money and wealth). We should boast that we understand and know God personally as our Father, God and faithful creator. The word to know God means knowing God intimately. God also says he is the God of lovingkindness, judgement and righteousness. God is delighted in these three things and like to do them.

Intimacy and service
Intimacy means a relationship with God. Service is ministry or to serve God. In fact ministry simply means service, to minister or to administer.
You cannot serve God without a relationship with God. It is from the standing point of relationship with God that you serve God successfully. I call this intimacy and service with God. Jeremiah was a Prophet (God’s spokesman, a voice and inspired preacher) who had a relationship with God and the ministry of God. Jeremiah 20:9 KJV. May you have a successful relationship with God and the ministry of God.

Fellowship of Saints

Personality is powerful.
The person you befriend will impart to you. You must be careful with the kind of people you partner with. If you partner with bad people you can be a bad person, and if you partner with good people you will be good person.
There are 3 kinds of communion we need to know and practice: 1. Communion of saints or fellowship of saints 2. Holy Communion or the Lord supper and the Communion (fellowship) of the Holy Spirit.1 Corinthians 11:23-26, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 and 2 Corinthians 13: 14

Discipleship

The discipline of a disciple
The word disciple means a student. And students must have discipline.
A student has discipline to follow schedule of time, have good behaviour, good attendance to the school and so on. The same way as a disciple of Jesus Christ you need to have discipline. Discipline is character. In another words you need to have character to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Character is very important to the calling of God. It doesn’t matter what calling you have, you need to have divine character.

Stewardship

Malachi 3:6-12 KJV we learn the principle of giving. This principle of giving is about offerings and tithes. God is a giving God, and he wants his children to be givers. The Bible says we should give according to our ability and we must not come to church empty handed Deuteronomy 16:16-17 KJV

Giving and Receiving
It is the financial principle that God has set forth to give and receive. We must give and receive from God. God wants us to give and expect to receive from God.
Many people give and never receive because they don’t expect to receive. God wants you to expect a financial miracle today.
Luke 6:38 KJV teaches us give and you shall receive in good measure. God is looking for faithful stewards and givers. We must be faithful to pay our tithes and give our offerings. Give and expect a financial miracle today.

Leadership

In Hebrews 13:7,17 KJV the Bible speaks of spiritual leaders. We need to listen to the leaders that God has put or set to lead us. We need to follow the leaders.
Leadership is the ability to influence others and show them the way to go. Leadership is influence. Leadership is taking the lead.The advantages of leadership are: leadership brings vision, clear voice of God, victory, Holy Spirit visitation and raises new vessels to serve God.

Spiritual Leadership
After being a Christian you need to sit under spiritual leadership. You cannot be a Christian living without a leader. Your life depends on spiritual leadership. Or if you are a leader you need to learn and listen to other leaders too.
In fact there are things very important that a Christian must have in order to grow spiritually and these are: 1. Spiritual leadership 2. The word of God 3. Prayer and 4. A church. These are the things as a Christian you must have and do them.
To obey spiritual leadership brings blessings in our lives. Rebellion brings a curse.
When a Christians obey God ‘s leadership God bless them.

Worship

Praise and worship is a very important subject in a life of a Christian.
Psalms 138:1-2 KJV speaks about praise and worship God with all heart. We must come to the presence of God with all our heart. Not with half heart. Always half-hearted people miss the move and blessings of God. Learn to praise and worship God with all your heart. Worship prepares us to hear the word. Worship is reverence to God, worship means God is worth of respect.

What happens when we worship God?
When we praise and worship God we do not waste time. There is something takes place in spiritual world. God seeks true worshippers who worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23-24 KJV so when we worship God, God finds us. In prayer and intercession we seek God but in praise and worship God seek us.
There are number of things takes place when we praise and worship God:
1.God manifest his presence to us 2. God speaks to us (the word) 3. Intimacy with God increase (our relationship with God grow) 4.God ministers to our needs (God meet us at the point of our needs) worship God and your will never be the same.

Angels

Angels are messengers of God they worship and serve God. Angels are ministering spirits to those who are heirs of Salvation. The Bible speaks about the ministry of angels in Hebrews 1:7, 14 KJV

Man, the Holy Spirit and angels
There are three kinds of Spirit, the spirit of a man, the Holy Spirit who is the spirit of God and spirit of an angel. Through out the Bible we see God ministering to man by the Holy Spirit and angels. The ministry of angels is still for today. When some one is born again the Bible says angels rejoice in heaven Luke 15:10 KJV and Cornelius also was instructed by angel to call peter for his salvation Acts 10:22 KJV. In the early church, the church experienced the angel of the Lord delivering them and instructing them Acts 5:19-21 and Acts 8:26 KJV.
The ministry of angels has not stopped. As Christians our part is to stay in the word of God and prayer. And God will send or use the angels to minister to us, as he will. We are not to seek angels or worship angels because the word of God warn us about that Colossians 2: 18-19 KJV

Many people today knows well the ministry of evangelists, pastors and teachers but we need to know God has set also the prophetic ministry to bless the church.
Who is a prophet?
A prophet is a voice, a minister of the gospel, a messenger, an inspired preacher and a seer, a dynamic man of God mighty in work and word. A Prophet is God’s spokesman. Prophet means one that is set.

Understanding Prophets
We need to understand how prophets function? Many people when they hear prophets all they think is to prophesy. But prophets do more that just to prophesy. Prophets can reveal Christ, release ministry gifts, bring revival in the church and minister the gospel. They can also administer healing and miracles. And finally prophets help God’s people to fulfil their divine destiny and purpose.
A prophet must be set or established by God and not a self made prophet of merely a title and pleasing the yes men.

Prophetic work
Prophets does a number of things; prophets can reveal, establish the kingdom of God, confirm, impart, warn and prophesy (predict). Prophets also direct, correct, testify and signify (indicate) and Prophets are anointed and set by the Holy Spirit to minister and serve God.

Apostolic Ministry

The ministry of apostles is it for today? According to the above verse of scripture yes there are apostles today. God has set in the church first apostles to do certain functions. There is apostolic work, which can only be done by Apostles of God.
What is the key to apostolic ministry? The key to apostolic ministry is two things prayer and the ministry of the word. Acts 6:4 KJV.
Who is an apostle? An apostle is a chosen vessel, special messenger, a key man and ambassador of the gospel, a minister and witness of Christ, officially a commissioner of Christ with miraculous acts. Apostle means one that is sent.

Understanding Apostles and apostolic work
We need to understand true apostles. Not every one who says I am an apostle so he is. We need to test the apostles if they true apostles. Revelation 2:2 KJV and 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15 KJV It is a dangerous thing to call yourself an apostle while you not. There are two types of apostles. True apostles and false apostles, false apostles are those apostles that God did not send they are went ones instead of sent ones. An apostle is a person with a special message and mission. E.g.. Apostle of faith or apostle of revival or apostle of love or healing apostle and apostle of prayer. If some one says he is an apostle we must ask apostle of what? or Apostle to who or where? Some apostles can be apostles to certain place or people e.g. apostle to Germany or apostle to Russia or apostle to the Jews or apostle to the gentiles like apostles Peter and Paul
Galatians 2:8 KJV Pray for God to give us true apostles.
What is apostolic work? Apostles can pioneer, give strategies, plant churches, build, lay foundation, perfect the saints and defend the faith. Apostles can minister prophetically, evangelise, pastor and teach. Apostles are ordained and appointed by God and not by men.

The Ministry of the Holy Spirit

It is important to know the person and purpose of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not an it or a thing. The Holy Spirit a divine person. The Holy Spirit is not human or angelic the Holy Spirit is a divine being. The Holy Spirit has come to help us live a Christian life and be a witness for Jesus Christ.
In Galatians 3:5 KJV we see the ministry of the Holy Spirit. We receive the ministry of the Holy Spirit by faith. It is the Holy Spirit who anoints us with the presence and power of God. Another work of the Holy Spirit is he causes us to know the voice of God. The Holy Sprit also helps us to worship and serve God. It is the Holy Spirit help us praise and worship God.

The Holy Spirit calls, anoints and sends
Many have received the Holy Spirit and stop there. They speak with tongues and they say thus it. Speaking with tongues is just the beginning but there is more in spiritual growth. You need to know the Holy Spirit help us to know the voice of God, to have intimate relationship with God, to be witness of Jesus Christ, to live a Christian life and above all the Holy Spirit help us to serve God and minister in power.
The work of the Holy Spirit is to call people of God into ministry. Acts 13:2 KJV
It is the Holy Spirit who calls, anoints and sends people to serve God.
May the Holy Spirit use you to serve God. May the Holy Spirit show you what work he has called you to do.

5 Ministry Gifts

Ministry gifts are five offices of the church. These ministry gifts are called five-fold ministry because they are to serve and administer in unity and fellowship.
The ministry gifts are listed in Ephesians 4:11 KJV
Jesus Christ had all five-ministry gifts in his public ministry. The Bible says Jesus had the Spirit without measure John 3:34 KJV. We need to pray for the ministry gifts to be strong in the word, prayer, calling and character.
Who are these ministry gifts? Apostles are sent by God and pioneers of new works, Prophets are set by God and are spokesmen of God’s kingdom, evangelists are preachers of the gospel, pastors are church leaders and teachers are instructors of the word of God.

The work of the ministry
The job of the five ministry gifts: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers is to perfect the saints, so that the saints may do the work of the ministry.
Ministry is work, thus why is called the work of the ministry. Ephesians 4:12 KJV
Ministry is not easy. It takes serious work to do ministry. The Christians are supposed to be involved in witnessing and serving God. As a Christians you are supposed to help and serve in the church. Find an area were you could be effective in ministry, serving God.
The anointing of the Holy Spirit is for ministry. God anoint us for dynamic ministry. What is ministry? Ministry simply means service. Who is a minister? A minister is a servant of God.

9 Spiritual Gifts

The spiritual gifts are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There are nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. These nine spiritual gifts are listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 KJV.
The gifts are called manifestation, abilities and divine endowment. God gives the gifts of the Holy Spirit to empower the church for world service and edification. There is different between the gift of the Holy Spirit and nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. Every Christian receives the gift of the Holy Spirit but the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit are for service. God anoint you for service. But when God give you the Holy Spirit it is to enable you to live as a Christian. The nine gifts are gifts of God. And we need the manifestation of the Gifts of God for the church edification and world service. We need to desire and receive the gifts of God and we will see the manifestation of the presence and power of God.

The purpose of the gifts of God:
Most people abuse and misuse the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They use the gifts for personal gain or self-ambition. But we have to know there is the purpose of the gifts of God. The purpose of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is to edify the church and to evangelise the world. The gifts of God are supposed to benefit all God’s people. 1 Corinthians 12:7 KJV
The gifts of the Holy Spirit are not supposed to be for self-pride. God wants his people to have the gifts of God with a godly character.
Many people are asking how to flow in the gifts of God? The key to the gifts of God is the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:2,8 KJV Gifts are manifestated when the presence and power of God is in action. The other keys to flow in the gifts of God is to have intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit and know the voice of God.

The Fruit of the Spirit

What is the fruit of the Spirit? The fruit of the Spirit is the character of God. It is a Christ like character. The fruit of the spirit makes us have a character like Christ. The fruit of Spirit is about spiritual discipline. How does the fruit of the Spirit come? The fruit of the Spirit is the result of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Holy Spirit in not just speaking in tongues, no. The Holy Spirit also produces character in our lives.
The Holy Spirit brings divine character in our lives. He makes us to be like Jesus Christ in Character. The fruit of the Spirit is the one will make you see God now and in heaven. This fruit of the spirit is listed in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV.
As we experience the presence of the Holy Spirit it will help us develop the fruit of the Spirit. As a Christian you need to develop the fruit of the Spirit.
Who is the Spirit? The Spirit is the Holy Spirit. We receive the Holy Spirit by faith Galatians 3:2-3,5 KJV. It is the Holy Spirit who gives divine character.

God, Others and You
There is one fruit and 9 things in it. The fruit of Spirit is divided in three parts God, others and you. The first part is love, joy and peace, which represent our relation ship with God. The second part is patience, gentleness and goodness, which represent our relationship with others and third part is faithfulness, meekness and self-control, which represent your personal well-being.
The fruit of the Spirit is about goodness; righteousness and truth read Ephesians 5:9 KJV. The fruit of Spirit help us to be good, and have a right stand with God and live in truth.
We also understand the fruit of the Spirit represent the Holy Trinity. Goodness stand for the father, God is good, righteousness we know we receive our righteousness through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is a Spirit of truth and he leads us into all truth.
As a Christian you need to grow and live in the fruit of the Spirit, the word of God and prayer.

Mission Statement

What is a mission statement? A mission statement is a statement of purpose. A mission statement tells others why you exist? And why are you doing what you are doing? Before Jesus started his ministry he had a mission statement. This was Jesus Christ mission statement in Luke 4:18-19 KJV. Jesus opened the books and read The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Jesus made sure as a leader that his followers, religious leaders and members of synagogues know what his mission statement is. And what he wants to do or live for.
How do we apply this truth in our lives? Our lives and our field were we work is important and we need a mission statement in order to fulfil the purposes of God in our lives. You need to find in the Bible by the help of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Scriptures that speaks for your life. Find a place to read for your mission and your life will never be the same.

The man, the measure and the mission
The measure of a man is character. Many purposes of God are not fulfilled because of lack of character. Jesus Christ was a man of character. And thus why he fulfilled his mission. We have ministry gifts listed in Ephesians 4:11 KJV and spiritual gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 KJV but all this depend on character which is the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV.
We need the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. The result of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is the fruit of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who bring character in our lives. Our spiritual measure is character. A calling of God comes with character. To fulfil your mission you need the character of God, which is the fruit of the Spirit.
Always develop your character and God will enable you to be successful in your calling and mission.
